We recently completed a large-scale luxury vinyl tile (LVT) installation at a property in Highcliffe, transforming the entire ground floor with approximately 180 square metres of herringbone flooring. Before the new flooring could be installed, significant subfloor preparation was required. The property featured concrete floors with varying heights between rooms, making it impossible to achieve the consistent finish needed for a continuous herringbone installation. To create a perfectly level surface, we screeded the floors by up to 40mm in certain areas, carefully bringing all sections of the concrete subfloor to the same finished level. This process ensured a stable, uniform base across the entire ground floor and provided the ideal foundation for the new LVT flooring. Once the screed had fully cured and the subfloor was ready, we supplied and installed Invictus Royal Oak Traditional in a classic herringbone pattern throughout the property. The flooring was fitted continuously across the kitchen, lounge, gym, hallway, and ground floor bedroom, creating a cohesive design that visually connects each space. The intricate herringbone layout required careful planning and precision installation to ensure every plank aligned perfectly, resulting in a clean, symmetrical finish throughout the home.

The completed installation has completely transformed the property.
