Not every flooring project happens indoors, and this particular installation was certainly one of the more unusual requests we have completed. A client in Mudeford approached us looking to transform a rubberised flat roof into a vibrant outdoor space using artificial grass.

To achieve this, we supplied and installed blue artificial grass across the roof surface, creating a unique and eye-catching finish. Because the surface was a rubberised flat roof exposed to weather conditions, it was important that the installation used the correct materials to ensure durability and long-term performance.

We used a waterproof, weather-resistant rubber adhesive to fully bond the artificial grass to the roof surface. This method ensures maximum strength and stability, preventing movement or lifting even when exposed to wind and rain. Fully bonding the grass also helps maintain a smooth and professional appearance across the entire surface.

The finished result created a distinctive outdoor feature that transformed the flat roof into a colourful and functional space. This project demonstrates our ability to take on unusual flooring installations and deliver creative solutions that meet our clients’ unique ideas.
